I am looking for possibilities to add images in sales quotations (or other sales documents). By now we are using SmartForms.
Can I include a number of images (maybe two or more) dynamically by URL in Smartforms?
Is there an idea of a solution without uploading images static in SAP Database?
Or is the only solution using Adobe Document Services having mor dynamically possibilities?

Hi,
Smartforms support only BDS (Transaktion SE78) persisted bitmaps, which are converted to SAP OTF format compatible bitmaps during loading.
On SCN there are some examples of people programming storing images to BDS "dynamically" prior to calling Smartform, but the obvious disadvantage of all of these workarounds is - depending on the image color depth, resolution etc., the BDS conversion and storing algorithm can be quite slow. Also, storing thousands of one time use images would "litter" BDS, which is meant for things like logos.

Well i have the answer now, that might help someone.
go to sp01 / and change the Device Attribute / device type to the same and it works like a charm!
How to find an invoice printout was created by which transaction for example VF02, VF31 etc.?
Output type creation in the billing document:
When billing document is created, the output type is assigned in it. But if the Dispatch Time = 3, then printout is not immediate (after saving billing doc).
Output type is processed:
The traffic light of the output type in the billing document turns to green.
And printout is produced.
How to know which is the transaction that processed the output OR created the printout?

In my case Am printing sales order data in a preprinted paper through LIPI dotmatrix printer.
When i print one sales order, the data is getting printed properly.
But we have written one more program to print multiple sales order, When we select more than one sales order and click print, Then all the data is getting printed on single paer itself.
Please help i this.

For my company, I want to print label with barcodes when an invoice is posted in MIRO.
I was maintained print conditions in NACE.
My problem: when I post an invoice in MIRO I have an output for the header level and for the item level.
How can I have only the output for the header level ? I need to maintain a routine in VOFM ???

We are facing similar problem in smart forms.
We created a new page format for our page size but when we print the printer is rolling page up till A4 size only.
So first page is printing fine and when it comes to second page the data is going up a little bit and third page even more.
our paper size is 306MM height and 231MM width, but the printer is not taking this height.
But when i use any standard page formats , then the printer responds according to that.
Please help us.

I'm facing same problem, In LP01.LOCL print preview is coming fine , but in other output device types having device type ASCIIPI template and table borders are coming in very thick color..

Hi,
I'm using this two methods to print from word:
CALL METHOD OF gs_word 'ActiveDocument' = gs_actdoc .
CALL METHOD OF gs_actdoc 'PrintOut' .
and it works fine but this way I don't use the required printer.
My question is
1. how can I change the default printer to the desired printer
2. printe using the previous method
3. change again to the initial default printer

Is there any way to supress initial value of a variable when I have multiple variables in one text node?
For example I have defined my text like this:
Many times my Lenght_03 etc are empty and I don't need to print them. Currently it prints blank row for each initial variable. I tried using (I) but it doesn't work. Any workarounds except making different text nodes for each row?

Option 1: write code to concatenate variables and use SHIFT<value> LEFT DELETING LEADING space
Option 2: Split rows and use separate text component for each row. Use condition to check if variable is blank.

Hi I have problem with printing PO form in SAP HANA.
Actually, my functional colleague already set up the configuration, and we are able to print preview the form in ME22N, via message output.
But every time a new layout was activated for that same form, that new layout was not reflected in the display of the form. it is still using the old layout.
Something like, the ME22N use the one that was already processed.
Even when some changes has been done to the PO data like qty or price, also the new qty or price wont be reflected in the form.
Anybody has issue like this before and how to handle it?
